Just some upkeep on things…
- The Grand Canyon is very cool. I’ll be game to go back just about any time. It took us three hours to hike a mere three miles round trip on the Bright Angel Trail. After that, we hiked along the Rim Trail and put in a total of six or so miles for the day. The day was clear and we had beautiful views.
- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers be awesome. Not much else to say besides that. Our seats were in the nosebleed section but we had a great view and the music was awesome. I can safely say my concert wish-list is complete.
- Work is busy. Unlike the old job at the Help Desk, where summer passed at a fairly relaxed pace, the new job is very busy during the summer months. This is mostly because of our Faculty Rollout where we give new computers to a quarter of the faculty on campus. Busy or not though, I am enjoying the new job. It’s a lot less stressful and I get to do new things.
- Writing … it’s happening. Not much else to say right now.
