Here you go – John Scalzi today posted a list of Things I Don’t Have to Think About Today.

I’ve had a very good life, all things considering.  I don’t have to think about these things.  At the same time this fortunate life has also given me plenty of opportunity to meet people who do have to think about these things.

So, to paraphrase John, I don’t have to, but I do.
