For obvious reasons, I didn’t really follow up on the last post right away.
Our Mom passed away in the wee hours of the morning on October 30th. All of her kids were notified a short time later – my guess is this was on purpose since we were all born in the earliest hours of the morning. So well played.

None of this was a surprise. She had cancer and was told that she’d only have 3 – 5 years. Well, that was 17 years ago so fuck off cancer. No one likes you anyways. There was a visitation that went well. Even ran into some old friends I haven’t seen in many, many years and heard a lot of stories about Mom. All in all, we’re doing okay. But I didn’t think I could leave the last post hanging.
