So for obvious reasons, I didn’t really follow up on the last post so I’m doing that now.

Mom passed away in the early hours of October 30th. I’m guessing this was revenge for all us kids being born in the wee hours of the morning so well played, well played.

None of this was a surprise to us. She was diagnosed with cancer and given 3 -5 years to live. Well, that was 17 years ago so as all good folks should, she told cancer to go fuck itself.

Mom donated her body to science (University of Iowa) so there won’t be a service for a while. There was a visitation which was nice and well attended. She had a ton of friends and was involved in just about everything under the sun.f Also ran into old friends and teachers we haven’t seen in many years. So it was all pleasant and nice. She would have been happy.
