Moose and Ink

First moon shot through my 8 inch dobsonian telescope. I recently bought a mount for my iPhone to connect to the eye piece and hold it steady. We finally had clear skies so I got to try it out last night before the cold drove me inside.

I need to work on the exposure and brightness. Even turning down exposure on the iPhone didn’t seem to work but in reading about it afterwards, it’s likely the camera app was trying to ‘help’ me with a dark photo and throwing in some other adjustments. But for a first shot, I’m pleased.

Oh, also – hi. Still alive. Life’s been busy and good and weird. Will I update again before another six months is up? Who knows?
